HEY PEOPLE!

PRESENTING TO YOU :FloorPLAY 2007!!

FloorPLAY is a Rafflesian event featuring all three raffles schools- RGS, RI AND RJC. It is a 3 on 3 floorball carnival held in aid of the CHILDREN'S AID SOCIETY. It will be held in the RJC MPH(MULTI PURPOSE HALL) AND ISH(INDOOR SPORTS HALL) on the 14th of july.

The Children's Aid Society is a welfare organization that deals with children whose parents cannot afford to look after them (financially or otherwise) due to a variety of reasons like lack of money to do so, imprisonment, drug rehabilitation etc. This society currently cares for 47 children from the ages of 3-16. It provides them with a place to stay during the week and even finances their school fees and other expenses. The society has an annual expenditure of $43 000, and thus, relies heavily on donations from the public. We are hoping that through this project, we can help raise awareness for this welfare organization so that many more people will step up to do more projects for the benefit of such organizations.

How to take part?

Form a team of four (3players+1reserve) in one of the following categories:

U-14 BOYS

U-14 GIRLS

U-17 BOYS

U-17 GIRLS

U-19 BOYS

U-19 GIRLS

Bring a $12 registration fee to our registration booth which will be at your respective schools on the 29th of June, 3rd july, 4th july and 5th july.

Payment must be settled at the point of registration

Besides the main tournament, there will also be cool street performances by RJC STREETDANCE and our very own BEATBOXER!!!!!

There will also be great food and drinks including bubble tea, authentic RAMLY burgers, ice cream and much much more!!!So make a date with your friends, form a team of four, and come down on the 14th of july for a day of floorball action!!!

THANKS FOR THE FANTASTIC ONE MONTH IN OUR HOME!! studying with all of you made mugging for the terrible cts so much more bearable.. hehe!! watching ian and sometimes farish come through our backyard... ain, nicole and i laughing at the guys do stupid stuff.. they just crack us up! watching spongebob when we really had enough of our notes!! ahh!! LOVELOVELOVE!! we should do this before promos too k!! HAHA..

hm.. about today? it was only fun after we got out of rg.. i mean like i spent the whole entire time trying to convince them to join FloorPLAY.. and like they just say, "we'll go to the booth if we're interested".. like.. so annoying..

anyways.. the RAMONES went to town for lunch at a muslim foodplace.. quite nice... me, weehao and ian left first.. weehao took the bus home, so me and ian took the mrt back to school.. he had gp common test (which he found out later was optional), and i had street.. found out some interesting stuff, like that was ian's first time in town on a weekday in a long time, and it was his FIRST TIME IN ORCHARD IN SCHOOL UNIFORM! like hello.. the poor boy is deprived.. haha.. and yes, the not so bimbo-princess athena taught ianchew an important lesson in life.. always look on the bright side of things, no matter how bad the situation is, it makes you a happier person.. so yes, now ianchew is a happier person! haha! okok.. i'm talking rubbish! GLAD CTS ARE OVER!! NOW WE CAN RELAX FOR A WHILE UNTIL ONE OF THE RESPONSIBLE RAMONES MAKE US STUDY FOR PROMOS!

haha.. stole this from zhen's blog.. it's so vintage and pretty right??? haha! i love our chinese class! funny jared crash our class.. and it so happened we were doing kou-shi that day! laoshi actually thought he could speak chinese.. and we were kinda pissing laoshi off cause like, we were talking about random stuff when we were supposed to be practising koushi... but how can she tell right? cause orals are all about talking.. just mask the talking by adding some random chinese words! lol! random shoutout, I LOVE ELENA AND EUGENE!!! much loves!

haha.. that was fun! hm... study study study! oh yar, went to school today.. for TWO meetings, CIP and PW!! spent FOUR hours in the PE dept talking about cip! our dear jiayuan so smart.. we needed to call the trophy person, so he went to call lah, then.. smart lah, call our own school number and he seriously didn't know until i pointed it out, so the convo went something like this:

jiayuan: hi, i'm calling from rjc and we're enquiring about the cost of printing the plates for the trophies.
lady: are you sure you got the correct number?
jiayuan: yes, we ordered a batch of trophies from you before, right now we just want to print the plate for the trophy, how much is it?

lady: maybe you should try calling the pe dept.
(i walk in from the washroom)
athena: you're still on the phone??? did you call this number? (points to rj number)
jiayuan: OH SHIT!
pathy (who took over jiayuan on the phone): oh, i think we got the wrong number, sorry!

so yes.. basically, jiayuan was on the phone for about 5 mins talking to the admin person about printing trophy plates.. lol, so lame!! like rj pe dept calling rj admin office.. wth... lol.. help lah.. lousy logistics fella.... haha.. but we still love you all the same... i really hope floorplay will work out!!! cause i love the main comm too!!! and i know we can do it!!! yay!
